Qigong classes and workshops for well-being

Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves using exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being.

During May, we will enjoy learning and practicing Tibetan Women’s Sound Healing.

An energizing qigong warmup followed by movements to balance mind, breath and body. Open the energy channels of the body, reduce stress, promote well-being and vitality, while enjoying the lovely energy of the Haven Day Spa & Wellness Centre in community. Small session size means a more personal and expansive experience.

No previous qigong experience necessary

Bring your water and wear comfortable clothes you can move gently in.

Stephanie has practiced and studied qigong for 15 years. She has a previous background in fitness, nutrition & wellness, and women’s strength training, with additional training in Tibetan Breathing & Movement Yoga, the chakra system and Ayurveda.
